Consider inquiring about valet parking for added convenience, especially if the garage feels isolated.

I had a great stay at the Doubletree in Wilmington. The location is fantastic, just a block from Market Street with loads of delicious restaurants. The check-in process was smooth, even with a brief system glitch, the front desk staff kept things moving and made me feel welcome. I loved the clean and comfortable king room with excellent amenities. I especially enjoyed the warm cookies they offered when I checked in. However, I faced some issues with room service. it wasn't available during my stay, which was disappointing. While the staff was friendly, it did feel like I was waiting too long for requested towels after calling multiple times. The breakfast was decent, but some seating arrangements in the dining area weren’t comfortable due to the height differences. Overall, it was a cozy place with a few hiccups, but nothing that ruined my overall enjoyment.

The King Room was alright—seemed clean, but definitely showing its age with some peeling wallpaper and a musty smell in the hallway. The bed felt worn out and it wasn’t super comfy for sleeping. Bathroom could’ve used some updating too. the vanity looked pretty beat up. Staff was nice, but the overall condition of the room just didn’t feel up to Hilton standards. Wasn't the worst, but I expected better.

Our stay was memorable, especially with the kids enjoying the easy access to outdoor activities nearby. We loved the convenient location, which is close to Children's Hospital and the beautiful greenery around. The warm cookie at check-in was a nice touch!
My kids wished there were more swimming options nearby. It would be great to have a pool for some fun after a long day of exploring.

The King Room offered a fantastic shower pressure, making for a refreshing experience. The location is surprisingly central, allowing easy access to nearby sites without the trouble of long trips.
The hotel felt a bit outdated, with an air of neglect around cleanliness—such as dust accumulation under the mattress and in corners, and the hallway floors could definitely use more attention. The restaurant experience was disappointing. many menu items not available, leaving a limited selection that felt more like a sandwich shop than a hotel dining option. Also, the cold temperature settings throughout the hotel necessitated wearing sweatshirts, which added a level of discomfort during my stay.

The spacious King Room provided excellent pillows and a large TV, making for a comfortable stay. World-famous seasoned fries stood out as a delightful dining option. However, the shower ceiling was peeling, and scuff marks were visible throughout the hotel, suggesting a need for maintenance. Additionally, the promised shuttle service to the train station was unavailable, leaving guests to manage their luggage on foot, which was quite inconvenient.
